It is encrypted so it cant be read by anything but the RB software and is the Navdata.db3 file in the data folder

so the date of my file in that directory is 10-27-2015-  does this file date not change when it is updated?

It should but do you have any other instance of the software on the computer, if you have updated it may be going there instead.  Use Windows search to see if you have another instance, its possibly in program files, if you have, uninstall it and once done go back in and unistall any folder left behind, never install to program files location, only install to the root directory such as C:\Airnav/

My Navdata.db3 is 138Mb in size.   If you go to your aircraft table, how many rows does it show, bottom left of the page.  I have 552,566 although I have not updated since Saturday

File/Database Explorer/Table and go to Aircraft in the drop down list and you will see the total rows bottom left when it updates

You should also have the last 10 updates showing below it in the data folder, these will have the date downloaded on them i.e Navdata.db3.20250916 was the last one I downloaded

These can be deleted but they do no harm as the Navdat.db3 file is the one used by the software
