My brother has joined me on several Radarbox sessions and is very impressed with it. But he thought that along with the distance and bearings which are given in My Flights, it would be handy to have the angle of elevation as well, - especially so for the 'Dot Spotting' enthusiasts, - when aircraft are not trailing. So he developed a freeware programme which when opened from a desktop icon, sits on top when R/B is running.
When the base station elevation, aircraft height and distance are entered, the angle from 'Home' is calculated and shown.
Myself and I'm sure many others find it difficult to judge an angle by 'rack of eye'. Clicking on the little square in the box opens/closes another larger panel showing the actual angle as a line.
