Hi
I will be putting airnav on my windows 8.1 computer did everything go ok.
didn't work I have contacted support today
waiting there reply
lenny
Lenny.
If you are having the problem I had with Airnav's Win 8.1 instructions as I did then if you get as far as number 7 on their list you need to get a bitlocker recovery key code from microsoft. When you have that the rest is straight forward. My Asus T100 with Win8.1 runs really well now with RB.

Good luck sent email about this to surport no reply thanks to Steve from ADU software who was on for nearly 3 hours got it working.
Hugh,
To allow me to see why you didn't get a reply, can you pass your ticket number received.
Alan
Hi
I am trying to load my RadarBox on my 8.1 laptop.
I downloaded the software ok, but got message hardware not connected, I contacted support thinking it was the driver problem and got a very quick response. Having worked through their '9 point plan' I still have the same problem. 'Hardware: Not Connected'
Are we still restricted to loading on two computers only, because this will be my third? and I wonder if this might be the problem.
I did ask this question of support but got no reply.
Regards
Keith pass me the ticket number you received from your query to Airnav and I will ensure they respond to you
Alan
Thanks for your reply Alan

Hi, my RB was running ok on my Windows 8 PC (Thanks Alan) but I MADE A MISTAKE! of pressing upgrade to Windows 8.1 when a reminder appeared on the screen. Now RB not working "RB 1 Not found, RB 2 Not found". Is this a support issue or is there a quick solution.
J.D
Have you closed down and restarted again if so you may have to go through the driver installation process again.
Failing that I would suggest you contact
[email protected].
Also as you don't appear to be using the latest version 5.00.72
Alan
Hi Alan, yes I'm still on 5.00.071. I have tried restarting - no joy - checking in devices it says that "Drivers are Unavailable" for RB but the drivers are still there on my desktop.
J.D
JD,
Try installing the drivers again using the same procedure as the last time.
Alan
Hi Alan, I've sent in a request to Support, I'll see what they suggest
Thanks for your replies
J.D
If windows is saying the drivers are not available it means they are not installed JD
Alan
Hi Alan
All up and running now.
Thanks for your help.
Keith
Glad to hear it Keith
Alan
Hi Alan, just to let you know I'm up and running again - I deleted the drivers and re-installed them as you suggested and also followed Supports 9 point instructions - don't know what of the two was the key but RB going again so I'm happy again.
J.D
As long as you are up again that's the main thing JD
Alan
Hi,
Still having trouble with the drivers.
I have downloaded the new win 8 drivers on to my desktop , they are a 7z zip file.
I then extracted then to C:AIRNAVRADARBOX/DRIVERS.
The folder is in here.
I then did the 1-9 but still nothing.
Should I have unzipped them somewhere else ?
Thanks for any help.
Mike.
As advised by Burnley, the drivers are not mentioned on the sticky. After 9 when the computer restarts, go to Device Manager and right click on AirNav RadarBox. Update driver and point it to the unzipped 8.1 driver folder. Accept any warning messages and it will install and work.
Alan
Hi,
Done again and all working, just for anyone else struggling I did the following.
1)Downloaded latest ANRB software.(ANRB not plugged in).
2)In drivers folder deleted all old drivers.(ANRB plugged in now).
3)Downloaded new win 8 drivers zip to desktop, downloaded zip folder in to C:Airnav/Drivers folder.
4)Did 1-9 as per memo.
5)PC then reboots then go to settings/devices, go to Airnav, right click to update drivers and point it to above driver folder.
6)It searched added the new drivers and all is now working.
A big thanks to Alan and everyones help, now up and running.
Mike.
Glad to hear it Mike. I have advised support and asked them to change the stick instructions
