Question about demo

I downloaded the software, version 6.02.003, with the intention of checking it out before I commit to purchase a unit.

I'm running a Windows 10 Pro with 8Gb of RAM and an Intel Pentium processor at 1.50 GHz.

When I attempt to use the demo, there's no indications that it is running, no maps or planes are displayed.

Is this how the demo's supposed to work?
