Only power light on - hardware not connected message

HI All, just had to replace my HDD, also installed Win 7 64bit, loaded my ANRB disc, cannot connect to the radar box, reads hardware not connected although the power led is on. Have checked out the radar box with my laptop, all OK. Thanking in advance for any assistance. I still have my suspect HDD so I can get all logs & pictures off later.
