"My flights" not show, only information

Because sometimes I see in  My flights aircraft that shows information of registration, nationality, altitud, but does not appear in the radar, and the white box will light intermittently, someone can explain to me, thank you.

Gonz,

Non ADSB aircraft do not give of positional information so dont show on the map.  Only aircraft with a globe showing on the grid are ADSB equipped and will show.

Do I understand, but if you do not have the ADS-B why gives information such as  registration number of aircraft and altitude?

The receiver also picks up the mode-c /s info given off by the aircraft as well as the ADSB signal and can display this info as well
