Latest Database Update

Hi all, I thought I'd just try the D/B Update to see if aything had changed, and it has, now 211,388 aircraft.
Well done to all updaters, and many thanks for keeping us up to date.

Cat,

If you are on V5 you will get it throught database explorer.  If you are using a previous version they are no longer available but why not upgrade to V5

Hi, I have downloaded V5.00.065 but when I check my aircraft in the database it says 243,295 rows - which I'm taking as aircraft - but if I carry out an update it say ~211,588 aircraft loaded ?

When are you taking that 243,295 reading, if it is after updating but before closing down and restarting ignore it as the processing doesnt get finished until after starting up again.

Hi Alan, After reading coastguardjon's message I checked my aircraft in the database and got 243,295 loaded. I then carried out an update and that said that ~211,588 aircraft loaded. I then closed RB and restarted but I'm still getting 243,295 loaded ?

You must have some extras in your d/b for some reason J.D. 211,588 is correct on todays download.

Hi Alan, when I carried out the update the default "don't change manually changed records" was highlighted. I changed it to "update all records" and carried out another update. On restarting I now have 211,566 loaded. Looks like that was the issue.
