ADS-B future for GA in Australia ?

Hi all,

Anyone know what is the situation with this ADS-B technology & GA here in Australia ?

Will all GA aircraft be required to fit ADS-B in the future ?

It would be fantastic to be able to monitor light aircraft.

Hmm... sad to say though, if they are forced to fit these gadgets along with the already soaring costs of GA, rules, regulations etc, there probably won't be too many left flying.
