aircraft types

 hi I'm a new user located roughly 15 miles ne of edinburgh airport. I don't seem to be picking up smaller aircraft types which typically edinburgh receives plenty of eg emb 145 or dhc-8/400. Is there a reason for this? ie am i doing something wrong in set up??!!

A lot of the smaller comerical aircraft do not have ADS-B transponders hence they are not shown on the map but should appear in the list. Slowly they should be fitted with ADS-B but they should have at least with Mode-S within a few years.
