Back after a long gap

Well after  1 1/2 years of having the RB offline I've got it back up and running with latest software, some nice changes.

Obviously I'm well out of my original free year of network access and having read on website that live data is now available I though it time to try again.

Reviewing the purchase page I find two options, one for 5 min delay and one for no delay which also cost twice as much!

Now I know this is my first post back from sometime but, lol here goes...

Why two products? and why two prices?
After thinking about this there can't be any more cost involved in supplying 5 min delayed data over live data?  So why not just Live data?

This then brings in the cost, I remember when it was being discussed about how much network would cost way back before it was introduced and €5 per month was the figure, but I guess this has increased to €7+ which I think is okay (even if we're paying for our own shared data!)

So I guess my question really is:  Why double for live data?

Welcome back, we know you were an early adopter of the RadarBox :)

We won't go into why the network costs as its been over many times but to put it simply to handle a network this size (machines, bandwidth) costs money.

The 2 products were setup as we started the Live service parallel to the delayed with new hardware etc to ensure the data was delivered as quick and as on time as possible (Live data also updates every 20 seconds) so different setup for us.

Originally we introduced this a trial and following on we found some customers wanted to stick with the delayed data due to cost reasons hence we decided too keep the two products running in parallel.

In part yes, thanks for reply.  I'll have to play with system and see if there is any benefit (to me) adding network option to Radarbox over PlanePlotter data.
