Calculated Vertical Rate For Mode S Aircraft

Would it be possible for the next version to calculate a vertical rate for non ADS-B aircraft based on the last 5 seconds of altitude data. For example if the altitude increased by 100 in 5 seconds it would calculate to be a climb rate of 1200 ft/min. I know it might be quite a rough estimate but at least it would make the "status" column work better.
