Interesting thing just came up on my radar

Hi Guys,

I have just had a weird thing come up on my radar screen. you should see on the side menu of the print screen, the plane, it says the registration is various and if you read the rest, it doesn't really make sense, i wondered if you guys new anything.

I think the attachment is there, it is a print screen of what i saw, i hhave put it into a word document and attahced it to this post

It's the "known" incorrectly coded box on the American Airlines Boeing 777.

The hex code "belongs" to a Cessna

Looks like the  database has been adapted to reflect this problem?

If you read the detail in the CO it will advise that the hex code is being used by both N799AN B772 AAL and C172 N7942B.  The code actaully belongs to the C172 but the B772 is miscoding.

Not important really, but do we know if the Cessna is still active at all???

According to the FAA website it is still registered to Mr Puckett with the certificate due to expire at the end of this year.
