Iberia Express

Can confirm that the low cost Iberia subsidiary is flying in spite of various disputes with mainstream Iberia crews. Just had on EC-FDB c/n 173 Airbus A320-211 operating flight IBS2450 from Madrid to Palma.

It is indeed. Summer schedules now started and things are busier although as reported by John elsewhere, correct route details are proving to be a nightmare particularly with Ryanair who have restarted many services for the summer but are using the dreaded alpha numeric system for many flights.

Just a word of caution on Iberia Express, I cannot confirm if they will be using dedicated aircraft or if they will just be 'borrowing' from the parent company any aircraft when/if needed. Another one has just come on EC-FNR c/n 323 route Madrid to Alicante. They would appear to be on routes which were previously operated by Vueling on behalf of Iberia with Vueling now operating their own schedules.

Thanks Ian,  I thought from photographs they were using dedicated aircraft painted as Iberia Express.

The four airframes involved are:
EC-FDB
EC-FLP
EC-FNR
EC-LKH

If you delete any photos for these from your data/photo folder, they should repopulate the next time you click on them. 

They are operting in a scheme which has the Iberia Express titles and a plain white fuselage without the orange/red cheatline
