alerts not alerting

what is the best way to set up alerts?  i have set up alerts and they were working fine.  but for some reason they have stopped working.  i have changed the home point.  i have set the knowticle miles to 2 with the lon and lat points.

Is you new home position showing on the map? (with File...Preferences...RadarBox tab...Draw Home location Legend checked?

Just wondering whether you set it correctly.

thanks for your responce.  no one replied so i thought no one would.  i have it set for east point.  what should be in the home long and lat?  the airport? the city? or a point on the map?  i want to determine how many time a plane comes with in a mile of a residents home.

You "Home" location should be the centre point on the map from which you want the distance alerts to work.
