If you've got a 64-bit computer, you'll need the drivers from the link at the bottom of that page.

Version 4.03 works fine in 2D only, but will also work in 3D if you've bought the upgrade.

Where have you seen 4.04 mentioned? If it does exist, it hasn't been released.
