couple of newbie questions

hi a couple of questions.

if it shows an aircraft in my flights and its has no tracking symbol, does that mean its in my area ? i keep getting a military grob tutor popping up.


is there anyway such as a add on to track light aircraft from the local flying club? get loads of light aircraft over my house would love to track them.

The lack of the globe shows that it is not ADSB equipped and as such will not show on the map.

At this time there is nothing that you can add to be able to see these aircraft

Planeplotter however is a stand alone piece of software which may let you see them if there are enough Mlatters in your area.

If it is in my flights it is within range of your antenna coverage

Suggest you have a read on the internet like wikipedia about mode S against mode S ADS-B (where aircraft broadcast position info). And also mode S multilateraton, where for an aircraft that is not broadcasting positional info, a number of mode S receivers can triangulate the rough position
