The G280 was originally named G250, but in July 2011 IAI decided to rename it to G280, so the G250 silhouette shall also be valid for the G280. Read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulfstream_G280

At the Updaters Team: Perhaps the Database should be updated too.

Hi Ingo,

The d/b is already updated with 10 G280's already in the d/b with the first one being added in April.  BTW The G280 received full certification from Israel and the US on September 4th.

ICAO has both G250 and G280 as valid codes, so I've copied the G250 "silhouette" as G280 - they can live together happily!
