Yes I just replaced the discone mounted to my chimney with the Dressler ARA2000-HDX and this seems to be an improvement. Now connected to 70' LMR-400. I will definitely research other coax too.

The Dressler is good because I can adjust the gain of the preamp inside and use it with my other receivers. Probably need a dedicated 1090 antenna though.

Allocator - SF is brilliant for riding - I've been a few times and ride a Specialized S-Works Stumpy here but getting too old for off-road punishment.
