Hi just in home as I had a bowls match straight after work, anyhow. I noted a fair bit of US Military traffic today including a number of F15s and 10 USAF Tankers. Currently AE07B2 KC-135R 61-0302 QID99 is airborne ht 3200 sqwk 5033.

It must be very frustrating to have "work" getting in the way of your bowls games and aircraft spotting.

I am pleased to say that I can enjoy bowls and my RadarBox without interference by that dratted four letter word.

That is a word that should be banned on this forum

ASTOR2 decided to pay a little visit to my area for about 3 hours this morning. Couldnt see its position, but it sat nicely at 40k feet for most of the morning..using just mode S. Its a Raytheon Sentinel, used by the RAF for Radar Surveillance.

Also had one KC135 and Two C5 Galaxies (at different times) flying over this morning. When I say flying over..I mean somewhere up above at 40k feet within a 60 mile radius of Southend...

Hi all, Heads up

Currently doing race track pattern between Derby and some point west is an Astor

ZJ690 currently on box should be somewhere over Shawburry as I type trailing nicley. On his third pass over me roughly East - West along EGNX centerline. His orbits take about 15mins so I dont know how far west he goes.

Hey there Terry,

Just texted you matey...

I recorded the Hurricane also...along with 43C94 AB910 Supermarine Spitfire earlier on @ 12:54

Have also seen 14 C-17 Globemasters today - 2 RAF the remainder USAF...not sure if that is the 'normal' quota of Globemasters seen in a day or if there is some heavy lifting going on?

Regards,
-=Glyn=-

Terry

Thats normal buddy,
I got a Spit (AB910/349) a couple of days ago, also check your data base Glyn,as i now have 8 F-15Es from Lakenheath in my log and in the database,so there are more A/C coming through.

  Regards Terry.
