Hi Tom i thought he mighthave. My scanner aerial goes back up tomorrow storms permitting as i often hear a lot of the Mil traffic In and outbound.
You don't rent accommodation by any chance:-) I'd never get to work if I lived that close to EGUN.

Hi Anorak

Re those Quid callsigns, it was interesting. They were refueling a B52 or B52s off Lajes.
I saw this on another site which was offering this information:

Reference to Quids 93 and 94, their receiver was CHILL 42 again B52(s).
It has been on a Global Power mission to somewhere in the Med Sea (Possibly Decci range?).
Quid 91/92 refuelled it inbound, 93/94 refuelled it outbound.

they don't have to hit a range, a few months ago a couple of B-2A's got as far as this side of the Atlantic off Lands End before turning home on a Global Power.

I think the B-52 must have got as far as at least Sardinia before turning back?

it's amazing what goes on around and above us and these comms above were clear on HF Radio!!!

Thanks John for the info. Do you think the CIA might log in to the Forum. Might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb, do you know what freq to tune to?
See you at the extradition hearing
