Just saw on the network an aircraft departing VGZR Shah Jalal Intl in Dhaka, Bangladesh at 0345 GMT.  Even better because it was an A319 of Druk Air Bhutan.

Reports currently coming in from Kuala Lumpur.

Unless you noticed something different, Ian, the returns I'm seeing from around there seem to be coming from the east of the peninsular, north of Singapore. Nothing south of 2 degrees north, though, so the Equator bug seems to be still with us.

Hi Guys;
Im a newbie here with my Airnav as a Xmas present although I have owned an SBS for a number of years but that is a permanent fixture in my loft and does not travel. However, the Airnav was acquired for the sole purpose of taking it with me on my travels as I am a loadmaster and regularly get to rather obscure places in Africa, Asia etc. So, as internet conx is now a mandatory requirement with my company when in hotels, I will attempt to upload the Airnav whenever I am able! regards clive.

Great news, Clive - do keep us posted as to your locations - it will be great if you could update this thread as you start a session.

It's interesting to know who WAS where, but we can't spend all our time scanning the world map - so an early heads-up will help us notice your returns from unusual places. Good airport views much appreciated :-)

If you are able to provide logs and tie-ups from those unusual places to us in the Updaters team as well.  It would be very useful especially considering some of the locations you get to are not accessible to the average man.

PS I have had your Flickr photostream on my favourites, and have been watching it the last 4 months or so.  Found it when searching for an airline operator for a rare IL-76 I was updating and am now hooked by your travels.
