Watch it for 5 minutes - you aren't looking for an aircraft, you are IN the aircraft looking through the window and watching the scenery go by as if you are the pilot :)

Yes, I'd managed to work out for myself that "pilot's view" meant inside looking out :-)

That's not what I want - the expression "going round in the hold" will be readily understood by anyone who lives near a busy terminal area (I'll excuse Pat under the circumstances).

Dave, I've only just started beta testing, but when/if I see an aircraft in the hold at Inverness I'll see what I can grab.

In the meantime, I grabbed a quick image of an aircraft on departure from Aberdeen.

Yes, I guess it will be a challenge to get all colour schemes setup.  Maybe open this up for end-user development?

Will it run ok on low spec laptops? ie: P1.6Ghz + 512MbRAM ?

I think it's very unlikely to run well on low-spec machines - with all the 3D rendering and Google-Earthing going on, plus all the standard RadarBox processing, it's certainly pushing my single-core processor to the max! Though it is improving with fine tuning from the development team.

Ah well, looks like I need a new laptop!

I wasn't going to bother, but I have a few programs now that won't run properly on my old machine.

And I must admit, RB3D certainly looks so cool!  :)
