RadarBox 3D testing progressing well

The testing of RadarBox 3D is progressing well.  For those of you who would like to get an idea of the functions available, the draft manual can be accessed via the link below - see the 3D section at the end of the manual.  All normal RadarBox functions will be available as well as the new 3D view.

Note that RadarBox 3D is still 'work in progress' so the menu functions could well change before release.

Screenshots look great - await with interest to see what that 'one-off upgrade fee' will be...!

My other concern is to how 'thirsty' it will be on internet resources - I have a 10Gb a month limit and don't won't to see this all spent on downloading Google Earth maps to make ANRB look prettier.

I'm thinking it could be very hungry on both processor requirements and downloads.

I won't be buying a new pc/laptop to run it, or upgrading my internet plan.

PlanePlotter has a similar feature and it uses a lot of PC resource and the page refresh rate is slow.

That doesn't mean that the AirNav solution will be too.

I am no computer expert,  but i would bet my week wages, it would slow any computer processors down.
Screenshots and graphics are looking great well done airnav.

It is a plug in and available mid December and costs a one off fee of £89.95 according to a W & S advert in "Airliner" magazine out today.

If that is the true cost, I do know one person who will be keeping his 2D version.
