Just had a brief hit in the north London area with Mode S 738A4A indicating Israel Mil.

Nothing on GAS or airframes.org, so no idea what this was

The mode S yahoo group has this as Israel Air Force GLF5 Nachshon 679 which according to that site visited Heathrow Royal Suite this afternoon.

Thanks for that.  I'm just north of Heathrow and picked this up in the evening, so that would tie in with its departure later in the day I'd guess.

Landed just after 7pm, due out 11:30 tomorrow (Wednesday) according to the LHR List.

Interesting combination still onscreen, looking North from Hexham - Tyne Valley.
2 KC135 and a DC10 Extender, been onscreen at approx FL300 for last 15 mns or so.
Probable AF1 flotilla around!!!!
Based in Hexham - Tyne Valley
Best view for RB is North of a line between EGNT and EGNC  - includes OTA and Spade, to EGPH above 7500ft.   Can be TRUE mobile with Mobile Broadband feed to Network.

Hello jgrloit

Can you tell me how you get 2 KC135 and a DC10 to show on your screen

Cheers

Now lost previous tankers, but gained a Stratotanker varient on KC135.

Looks like a large number of movements somewhere over the pond!!!

I was just watching the local input.
As I said I have a good view North from Hexham, Tyne Valley.
Normal range of view at FL370 is Beyond Glasgow on the West coast to Arbroath on East Coast.
I run with NO filters selected and watch Myflights.
I use the supplied aerial indoors, in a window, Stone Building, View mainly North.
Usually catch Civil flights as they pass Penrith, and Teeside.

That lovely little Cessna 172P Shyhawk2 G-BRZS with full ADS-B is up an about at the moment showing on the map just to the west of WAL heading towards the N Wales Coast at 1,140 ft and 110 knts.

If only all light aircraft owners would fit ADS-B :-)

AirNav Support

Excellent to see a GA aircraft using ADS-B. Lets hope thats the first of many to come.
