A couple of links that should be useful to you. 

LAAS have a database of all foreign registered aircraft that they know of in the UK.
http://www.laasdata.com/fra/

It shows for example that your recently noted N-reg Cessna 337 is actually based near to you at Belfast Aldergrove.

OTT spotters give details of aircraft crossing the Atlantic on deliveries etc. 
http://ottspotters.com/

With these two websites, you will be better able to understand which are routine UK based aircraft. Or those which are coming over the Oggin, where you are well placed to give us the early heads up that they are headed our way.

HI Chris like the shot also. I use the 40D and I was thinking about the 100-400 lens for this season. I think I just made my mind up!!!

Hi John, I don't think the 100-400 can be beaten for versatility but optically it is not the best L lens. In good light though you will not be disappointed.

You should get some pretty good en-routes up there over BEL :)
