Database Update Requests

Some possible updates for New Zealand military codes:

Up until now all 5 of the RNZAF aircraft fitted with mode s have used codes in the C825xx range and they are in a logical sequence based on serial number.

However C-130H LEP NZ7003 has been flying around for the last couple of months with the code C87F04, not C82520 which it had been using up until its delivery end of October. I had assumed this to be a miscode, however on doing a bit of looking, the NZCAA only officially allocates the codes C87F00 to C87FFF to the military.

The code C87F04 also fits with a logical sequence in this correct block. That sequence would be:

C87F00 NZ7571 B757
C87F01 NZ7572 B757 (the two B757 are the first mode s fitted aircraft in the RNZAF)
C87F02 NZ7001 C-130 First Herc, yet to be modified
C87F03 NZ7002 C-130 Yet to be modified
C87F04 NZ7003 C-130 Transmitting code
C87F05 NZ7004 C-130 was using C82521 but now undergoing a major servicing so unsure if it will change to C87xxx
C87F06 NZ7005 C-130 Yet to be modified

My guess is that the P-3s currently in an upgrade program would follow on from these.

However if the C87 block is now being correctly used, then the B757s are now transmitting the wrong codes as are/were the other C-130 NZ7004 and the P-3K2 in Texas NZ4204...

I guess only time will tell, but NZ7003 may be worth putting into the database with its new code?

Hi Chris, according to my info, A2A07D N269AS became D2-EYO of Air26 in 2006.

The one you saw earlier is N269AS B747-446 c/n 25260/876 of Aersale enroute Narita for Roswell, courtesy John Hargreaves

A13AF0 N179DJ is not assigned by FAA, so miscode
392F0E BE40 F-GLYO became N916SB in 2008, so miscode
400B8B G-DLCH of Flyglobespan became as you state SU-MWE in August 2010, so again miscoding.

First of all, thanks very much.

Comments;

4CA29C became D-HHLE with Heli Trans Hamburg and my records show that it was written off in a training exercise.

E48580 comes out as PT-FQF an E50P, this became PH-PST so looks like a miscode

The c/n of D-IBYP is LJ-1967.

II have had a look through your unresolved and the only one I can identify is A14704.  This is GLEX N1812C c/n 9075 of Citiflight Inc.

I'm sure its on the database somehere!!!

Been away from the box for the last few weeks, and must say whilst on the network this evening ,so far everything initially showing as blank, is pulling back most info fields (other than the known problems of ICAO and silhourttes/pictures)

Great effort guys - keep it up!

Come on AirNav - it's time these long known bugs are sorted, give the lads a break for all the effort they're putting in eh??

M-YUNI c/n 5751 is in the d/b since 20/11/2010, havent a clue as to how to assist you to get it to populate though.

Don't think it was an issue with existing photo or similar, as it came through initially blank,but thinking about it, it produced just the registration field and nothing else??

don't worry, I'm sure these isues will get sorted soon......................................
