If you read the 3D models thread they stated last night they are still working on it.

Alan,

Just as I thought. Aplolgies, it appeared on another thread. I do note however the use of the word 'standby' once again.

tatto123,

Contact support, [email protected] with your PGANRB number as they require to do something at their end to set up and verify.

There has also been a problem since yesterdays server maintenance which is stopping 3D workin.

I have been trying to install the latest database but to no avail. Properties says it is the latest update but when I click on Database it still shows 80k aircraft.
I tried uninstalling the "old" NavData file and installing the new, but still shows the same. Any ideas appreciated

Runway 31

Brisbane,

You will in all probabilities have more than one version of Radarbox installed on your computer and the system will be reading the Navdata installed in the wrong place.  If you had an earlier version of Airnav installed and then upgraded to a newer version, you will have them both on your computer

You can either,

Install the update by directing it to the correct AirNav Systems folder.

or

Use the search facility of Windows to find out how many instances of Navdata db3  you have on your computer and move the new update to the correct AirNav Systems/Radarbox/Data folder.

Let us know how you get on.  Once you have got it working it may be an idea to delete the older version or versions of the software.

Isn't this thread a year out of date?

Yes but this is the one the lad used.  He did say he had downloaded and installed the latest one so I can only presume he has and not used the one on this thread.

Just in case, here is the link to the latest one http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=6749.0

Paul,

I just tried it and it works OK.  Go to the reply above yours and click on that link.   That will take you to the thread about the current update, click on the link on that thread and it should work OK, it just did for me.

Sorry for the delay in replying, but relying on wi-fi connections abroad. Tried uninstalling ANRB on my"old" XP version. it is still stubbornly refusing to accept the database, despite it saying that the newer version is installed.

Runway 31

Brisbane, have you tried searching for another installed version of Radarbox.  If you have installed the update it must be in the wrong location.

I am having problems with the AirNav 23 Feb DB3 download - keep getting Page not Found using the address at the beginning of this thread, also tried the Zip address shown later in the thread with the same response; and the address that Runway 31 says works states takes one back to the January 29 update thread, not the Feb 23 Update.

I read that Airnav are looking into some 3D issues so, AirNav, have you inhibited the Link?

Geot,

Please read things first, this thread started last year, the Feb 23 update at the beginning of this thread is from 2011.  The one I gave the link to is the latest one published in January 2012.

Sorry - my apologies. I did not read the date fully; the DB3 releases have been coming out on a near monthly basis for some months now and this AM I went looking for a late Feb one; saw this thread on my unread messages and assumed it was about this year. Did not think that 2011 stuff was still hanging around.
