Here are the other problem C2's e.g for 162143 AirNavRadarBox has one tie up while Airlibhome radar and a Military site has two

AE044B 162143   C2A   US Navy   sources ANRB/ALHR/MIL
AE045D 162143 C2A   US Navy   sources ALHR/MIL

162162 has been tied to three aircraft

AE0454 162162 C2A   US Navy   sources ANRB/ALHR/MIL
AE045A 162162 C2A   US Navy   sources MIL
AE0468 162162 C2A   US Navy   sources MIL

Again as first example

AE0456 162174 C2A   US Navy   sources ALHR/MIL
AE0466 162174 C2A   US Navy   sources ANRB/ALHR/MIL

I think you will understand my confusion

AE045C isnt in the d/b although it was picked up on the network in January this year.   AE045F is in as 162142.  It is the NP2000 8 bladed props test aircraft and is operated by VRC-40

The other C-2s are as far as I am aware tied up as we have them in the d/b.  A variety of sources give hex codes, some are less reliable than others.   I can only take them from what I consider to be reliable verified sources but even these can be wrong and thats before miscodes are brought into the equation.

The best source is usually from Mk 1 eyeball but even that can be wrong if the aircraft concerned is using the wrong code or if the person with the eyball reads things wrongly.

AE1273 73-1594
AE127D 73-1584

Tks

I have had reports of 73-1581 EC130H being AE127B and AE1276. My db has nothing.

I also so a report of 73-1587 being AE127B (of course could be a misread of 1 for 7)

What do you have in yr db for those two codes

Quote from modeSforum

'AE045C has previously been reported as C2 Greyhound
162142 when it passed through Prestwick last year'

As you said if eyeball is wrong it can throw up confusion so still not 100% certain!

I saw a recent UAE report asking for ModeS codes not in his database.

761482 AP-EDB A319-111 AirBlue c/n 3364

He asked for 601848 which I have as EZ-F428 IL76 Turkmenistan which would be departing on scheduled cargo flight ex AUH but the replier stated it was EZ-013??

A3511F - A6-PSB PA28 please note it is A6-FSB and NOT PSB (as per yr reply to me earlier this week). Seems like same source.

896296 was requested, it is as yet an unidentified helicopter
