In db you still have many Il-86's still listed, and as far I am aware only the Air Force Il-86VKP's are likely to be airborne. I have only seen one IL86 fly this year at all and that was 2/1/11 RA-86124 for Aeroflot Don (Donavia) and I think that is now wfu. Below are the VVS Machines

155082 RA-86146   IL86VKP   Voenno Vozdushnye Silye  based Chkalovsk   51483 205042
155083 RA-86147   IL86VKP   Voenno Vozdushnye Silye  based Chkalovsk   51483 205043
155084 RA-86148   IL86VKP   Voenno Vozdushnye Silye  based Chkalovsk   51483 205046
155085 RA-86149   IL86VKP   Voenno Vozdushnye Silye  based Chkalovsk   51483 205048

The only not marked WFU stored are 155082 and 152083.  RA-86124 is showing in my d/b as broken up in May.

On Il-86's that sounds about right, one VVS VKP was certainly looking well by sell by date last time I saw it a few years back. So two flyable would make sense. Only three 86's are now visible at SVO, CCCP-86003 has been WFU for 20 years at the Tech school, and one recent addition which I believe to be RA-86103, and another with all markings removed (basic grey tail ARIA c/s) near scrap area two weeks ago (possibly RA-86113).

Last year at DME five were WFU and two were still operational but now WFU.

There were only two Il-86 frames left at VKO in August 11 one in process of being B/U.

RA-86124 must have been on last legs to DXB in January to be B/U at SVO so quickly afterwards. I guess you will now remove the WFU/stored ones from the db in future updates as they are never likely to fly again.

Now to start on the Il-76's as a few of those are now reduced to scrap and the remains are now in canning factories being filled with piva (beer)

One new unknown in our area one still not tied up from earlier this year

* 8962EF                                                              2011/11/12 10:54:48
* 8962F6                                                              2011/11/12 09:11:54

Believe from heights they are probably choppers, as eggwhisks are very active with GP and Air Show on.

* AE2BEC                                                              2011/11/12 11:56:58  500 -800 ft so another show chopper?

Just to keep you up to date with our double pinging, treble miscoding little Fokker.

Officially EP-LCE should be 733065 Fokker 50 Kish Air 20265 (not in db), but double pings or miscodes 7376E5, 7336E5 and 737665 so anyone at show with a box will no doubt get mightly confused!

Can you confirm the correct hex for EP-LCE as both my d/b and GAS have it as 7376E5.  Its also in the d/b as miscodes, 7336E5 and as Airframes also have it as 733065, it is now in the d/b under that as well.

Nothing on your choppers
