Hmmm... I think Wikipedia has let us down.. 8EF can't be the ICAO code - they are letters only. I've just corrected it.

Linxair's code, according to Airframes and the FAA, is actually LIX, and I've done a white-background version of that.

anyway, the white version looks way better ;-)

vonsmalhausen

just found info that a new low-cost airline will be starting operations from 5 april on, operating from Marco Polo airport near Venice to start, but planning operations from El Prat, Barcelona later on.
aldo it starts operations in Italy, it is basicly a Spanish airline, founded by the same people who founded Veuling, and wil be named Volotea.
i can't find a ICAO code for it yet, but the first plane will have EC-LPM as registration, they start operations with 3 B-717's on flights between Italy, Spain and France

ICAO for Volotea is VOO.

Rod,

Four more new ICAO codes :

MML - Mongolian Airlines Group
SIL - Silver Airways (ex Gulfstream International Airlines)
SYA - Sky Aviation (Indonesia)
VQI - Flyme (Maldives)

Hi Ian - thanks for these:

MML - Mongolian Airlines Group
For Silver Airways we already had GFT so I've just renamed it to SIL
SYA - the FAA has this code for Syphaxair of Tunisia, Airframes has it for Skyways of Argentina, so here it is for Sky Aviation of Indonesia
VQI - Villa Air Private Ltd of the Maldives apparently trading as Flyme

Thanks for that ACW.

Here's the logo for TransPac Aviation Academy. I've called it N401PA which is at least a PA28, but it will need copying/renaming for the actual n-numbers. I've been watching them doing C&Bs and cross-countries, but not bothered noting the numbers.

EDIT - N428PA and N442PA are up and about at the moment.
