Alan,

Have just an update. The system showed that 210022 aircraft were downloaded. Upon doing a restart the aircraft table is showing a total of 211410 and EC-ICS is still present.

Hi Ian,

The database holds 210022 aircraft records as you state and thats what my d/b has after downloading this morning.  EC-ICS isnt in the Navdata or on the server having been removed in November.  For some reason you have an extre 1300 records and I have not got a clue why but some other users appear to have this as well, may well be that for some reasons some records are not being deleted if EC-ICS is in your Navdata.  It will probably date back to the first beta upgrade.  When you download the Navdata update do you go for Update all Records (overwrite the local databse with the server databse)?  If not try doing that.

I cannot manage to come over this side of the New Year as there is a steak and sausage pie waiting on me here with my name on it. :-))

I have done as you suggested and 'updated all records'. The total aircraft in the table is now showing 210022 and not 211410 as before and EC-ICS is no longer in the database therefore that seems to have done the trick.

In future when doing updates via d/b explorer would you suggest this option as I always used the 'do not update manually changed records' as the option particularly as this would appear to be the default.
I do have some individual records marked as 'N' to updating. Is that therefore sufficient ?
