You are correct Bob, another bit of sloppiness with these as the codes are already in use on the T-38's for many years.  Have updated them to show as the KC-46's and noted the double use in the operator field

A post last year on the mode-s forum described it as follows

Yes, these latest tankers from 46099 should not be using AE63 block as
they are FY22s not 21s.  21-46098 should have been the last one on
AE63CE.  Another total clusterf*ck from the US mil like the H60s and
C30J all sharing the same codes.

Alan

No worries bud,

I did wonder & you never know, what with the fact that quite a few US Mil now don't even carry serials!!

cheers matey.

Bob.

AE63D1 = 22-46101
AE63D0 = 22-46100

I believe these to be correct?

Hi Alan,
With the tensions in the mid east going on there is a lot of mil activity... a couple that popped up this morning on my box are AE63D0  GOLD03 64-13265   T38   US - Air Force       2025/06/20 09:13:12  &  AE63D1  GOLD13   64-13268   T38   US - Air Force  2025/06/20 09:25:44  ...... both are KC46's. I updated a few weeks back, do I need to again or do these need changing or are they spurious for whatever reason?.

cheers, Bob.
