RB on a Netbook - Preferences Box too big to apply chanhes!!

Hmm, The Alert popup is small. How big is it on the netbook?

On my laptop the alert is about 7cm high and 5.5cm wide. On the netbook, the alert pop up is 6cm high and 5cm high.

It would be a useful feature to custom-size the alert pop up box.

But how high/wide is your laptop screen :-) On my big 22 inch screen, the popup is about one fifth of the height of the screen. On the laptop, it's about one quarter of the screen height.

What screen resolution are you running?

Hey guys. Im having the same problem and the fixes noted above are not working. Im running vista and have changed the resolution size and restarted RB. Any other thoughts? Very frustrating!

Hi there,

Just confirm what your problem is here. What is your screen resolution and what type of PC are you running RadarBox on - is it a Netbook or laptop?

It is a Toshiba Laptop (15" screen) running vista, 1280x800 res...

I have tried several different resolution settings without any success. Just so we are on the same page, the problem is that i cant save my changes to "preferences" because the "ok" button is hidden on the bottom border of the window.

OK Greg, understand now. I'm sure that you should be able to see all of the Preferences box with that screen resolution. Are you using a non-standard larger Windows font?

Nope the fonts are standard. Im attempting to get a screen shot uploaded that shows this. Thanks for your help with this!

Hi,

you can try to resize the preferences windows with the help of this tool 'ResizeEnable':

You might have scroll/Move the windows afterwards to access the buttons.

Looking at your screen shot your display settings font sizes appear not to be set to "Normal".

right click on your desktop background and select properties, select the appearance tab and check what your Font Size is set to...
Normal will paint form as expected, "Large Fonts" or "Extra Large Fonts" will give you problems with forms being oversize like in your example.
