information panel

Can anyone tell me how to get a picture of the interface panel rather than the map? I want to copy both or just the interface sections sometimes.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Use the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard.  Then paste that into Paint programme, and cut/copy the bit you want.

got that far, now to get it into a message? got both bitmaps in a folder can't seem to get it to do anything after that. probably very easy but i'm missing something. help?
