I have a AirNav Radarbox and have had no problem with updateing it.  I recently had a few poweroutages and now it will not detect the hardware.  I checked the drivers and they are nonexistent.  If I reinstall the software and then try it again same problem.  It seems to me that the firmware has somehow gotten corrupted, maybe due to the power outage or some other problems.  Anyone have any suggestions on what to do?  I tried finding the firmware updater with little to no luck, many forums talk about it but I can't seem to find the link or address.  Any help would be appreciated.  I have also found one forum that said that I should send it back to HQ and have them reinstall the firmware there then have it sent back.  What should I do?

Do not try any firmware updates yourself, you might make it worse.

When you connect the RadarBox does the Green power light come on?

Just trying to identify the damage done.

I recieved the new box, hooked it up and it said I was missing two .DLL files.  I replaces the DLL files and now its saying I'm missing the RB.DLL file in multiple locations.  When I checked these locations the file was there and unecrypted.  I'm running the program in Admin mode with all rights.  Not sure what to do now.  Anyhelp would be appreciated.

The error code I'm getting is the fallowing;

" The dynamic link library rb could not be found in the specified path C:\program files\AirNav Systems\AirNav Radarbox 2007;.;C:WINNT\System32;C:\WINNT\system;C:WINNT;C:\WINNT;C:\WINNT\System32;C:WINNT;WINNT\System32\wbem;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adaptec Shared\System. "

I'm not a Vista user I'm afaid, so I can't help there.  I'm suprised that you had to manually add the dll files, that doesn't seem right to me.

What version of the RB software are you running?

No, I mean what version of the RadarBox software are you running?

Go to Help > About in RadarBox.

Edit: Windows 2000 - now I'm completely lost! Is RadarBox compatible with with this?

Can't do that, the program wont even start up.  When I try the shortuct or the program directly it brings up the error for both.  The icon says AirNav Radarbox 2007 but I'm not sure which version of it.

The latest version is V1.5 which is RadarBox 2008.  You have an old version of the software.
