E3CF Callsign NATO06

This aircraft (Registration ZH104) has been in My Flights pretty much all day, is this a common occourance?

Would love to be able to get its position, is there anyway of doing it?

It was in MyFlights for over 3 hours today, always around FL310.

hehe today is the first time Ive seen blue sky in a long time!

When filtering military, is it fair to say that 43* would work in the S-Mode collumn? is there a similar rule for the USAF?

Now replaced by ASTOR4   mode-S 43C09E    ZJ693  at 43000.   suspect from the coverage here in the Tyne Valley that it is in the Scottich Borders Refuel area.

The E3CF replaced a European aircraft with similar flight characteristics around midday.

AE0* and some of the ADF*/AE1* for the US Mil - they've got more aeroplanes than us!

You might want to amend your database - the LX- AWACS aircraft are E3TFs rather than E3CFs.

Try ADFD*, ADFE* and AE* for your USA military - it covers all known ones I have had in 20 months......

I had a similar NATO18 online today from 13:30 to approx 18:30.
Now have 4 x Tornado F3's on screen at various heights.
From the Squark codes they are from 2 groups - 5121, 5122, 5123 and 4615.

Any ideas of problems tonight?

Are they displaying their position too?

UK Military Never run with mode B only Mode S.
I am 20 Miles West of Newcastle-upon Tyne, UK.

Either use the built in Database Explorer (from the File menu) and search the Aircraft table for the ModeS or Registration of the aircraft that need editing or take a copy of the NavData.db3 database from the Data folder and edit it using an external SQLite database editor.

NATO's E3's have started using tactical codes on Mode-S. The most recent code being 001011 seen on 2nd September from NATO19. The code is not officially allocated to any country :-(
