Best External Antenna

Hi all,
i know it's down mainly to personal preference, but what is the general opinion on the best external antenna for  radarbox. i am considering getting one but am unsure of which one to throw my hard earned money at. any and all opinions greatly appreciated

There seems to be aroud 5 you can choose.

It all depends on your location. If you are in a valley or cannot get your antenna up above the line of sight of buildings you may be wasting your money buying a high gain vertical antenna. Have a look at what I wrote recently here:

Hi Les if your interested you can get a very neat little aerial from Sandpiper Communications (sandpiperaerials.co.uk or Tel 01685 870425) Ive had mine since last summer and it works really well, I get live flights as far away as Paris and Jersey on a 5 metre pole in the garden. I`ll be putting it up on the chimney as soon as weather gets a bit better, its only about 18" inches (460mm) so if you have got a busybody council or others it will hardly notice, also at £35 +6p&p its quite a bargain.Regards Lou.
