80-1066 was at 60000ft at 1136 and requested this level for Oceanic crossing.
First time I've logged anything anywhere near this height on R/B

Where did he cross the coast?

Runway 31

Hi Syd,

I picked up AE094F 80-1066 and also AE094B 68-10336 up here loosing them at 1145 and 1150 respectively.

When they came down over here on Tuesday I think it was they came down over the Hebrides and the west coast of Scotland, over Prestwick and continued down to Fairford.  Given that I picked them up again I would think the went them same way in reverse to their Oceanic Entry point.

Does anyone know why I'm getting Sea Kings around me here in Lancashire at the moment (including ZE425 which squawked 7700 earlier this evening)? They're normally pretty rare in this area.

Is there an exercise going on?

anybody any ideas, came down from altitude quite quick.
Thanks,  Dave.

Just got RAZOR32 as a Typhoon ZJ923
Playing directly over head with a full moon and lots of noise, yummee.

I was picking up two British Army Lynxs until a few minutes ago, running with Ironman 1 = XZ651, and Ironman 2 = ZD283.   For obvious reasons, not full ADSB!
ANRB :  AOR AR8000 : Icom R-7000 : Icom IC-R9000 : JRC NRD-545 : OptoElectronics Digital Scout and OptoLinx Interface; Realistic Pro-2005 : UBC 800XLT - listed in alphabetical order, not cost, preference, performance or entertainment value!

I know I haven`t been drinking, but could I have seen a Anson fly over North Devon?
Dave.
Just had a thought, with the cut backs is it David Cameron going to the G8 chat in Northern Ireland?
Dave. Exmoor, North Devon.

GreekSpy2001

There is an Anson flying.  Saw it at RIAT Fairford last year

Saw it, heard it and flew in one, Metropolitan Coms at Northolt in 1960something if memory serves, misting over into sepia effect now.
Thanks,  Dave.

"...and flew in one,"

So did I. Cadged a lift from RAF Bishops Court To RAF Ouston in November 1959.
First time I'd been in a 'plane so I remember it well and can still clearly picture how austere it was with canvas seats, bare struts and a curtain separating the cabin from the cockpit.
Spent quite a bit of time on the net trying to identify which one it was as it would complete my 'flights log'
Pity I've nowt else better to do! :-)

Syd

Runway 31

By here Syd you must be an old codger!!

Alan

Hawkeye

So old Alan, Pontius could have been the 'pilate'.
groan !!. Sorry,  I'll get mi coat :-)

Must admit, I've seen better days.
Nothing much to be said for getting old apart from the alternative's not very good
