Currently have an RAF Hawk pilot (registration XX339) flying about over here with delusions of grandeur using flight ID of 'MIG 56' !

Interesting.  When I was on 100 Sqn we would simulate a defecting aircraft.  We would put a day-glow star in front of the roundel.  When landing at the station being Tacevaled it was the job of the fire section to stop the aircraft getting off the runway.

Two RAF Hawks currently flying today at a low level of FL130. XX339 flight ID MIG 56 of yesterday but today has XX285 with a flight ID of MIG 55 as company.

Those Hawks are TLP 2013-5 course, participants in Albacete (Spain), as they are agressors they use the code MIG 55 and 56.

They must be making it difficult for the 'opposition' today as both are back in the air with the same flight ID of MIG 56 !

Seen passing Montreal and apparently heading to the UK for RIAT and Farnborough is N531TA, a Cessna E530 which Wikipedia believes is the new low-cost fighter otherwise known as the Textron AirLand Scorpion.
