So far so good. Menu speed is great. The application is responding nicely. One thing; my clock is still 1 hour behind. I'm in Montreal (-5 EST). any clues?

Vista 32-bit SP1

Thanks

Glad to report that the emailing of reports now works for me, as my ISP O2 blocked the ports and prevented this feature from working.

Well Done Airnav

Another bug.

I cannot get the split cursor that allows the interface to be made wider or narrower. This is on both XP and Vista PCs.

Tom

Hi Viking9,

If you click on the very edge of the menu it allows you to drag, it just does not show you the icon your used to.

Cheers John

Thanks for that John. I was looking for the exact same thing.

Cheers,

Airnav, as you asked for it, here are my current observations using Beta 3:

- Entries of closed maps in windows menu
After having opened and closed some maps, the windows menu shows several entries of maps (eg. 3 x "default.ml3"), even though just one map is currently opened.

- No icon to resize interface window shown

- Custom legend list
Does not work initially. Regional settings of windows must be changed (comma to decimal) in order for this feature to work (using German WinXP).

- Sluggish performance with Aviation Signs "Fix" on
Turning on Fixes, brings the application in an very unresponsive state: menus get shown with an appr. 10 sec delay, paning the map is a stutter game. I guess thats just due to the amount of data handled/available. (System used: WinXP SP3, Quadcore, 4GB)

- Error message in preference menu
When thre is no entry made in the "Station data" section of the "Home station data" tab, an error message saying "Please specify a name" is shown when exiting the preference menu with OK.

Other than that, the software runs perfectly stable with very responsive overall reaction.

AirNav Support

vruma,

Thanks we are aware of those. The sluggish response with all the fixes is normal :) as there is soo many that it has trouble. A few customers and Professional customers really wanted this.

We will discuss whether there is ways to limit them internally.

Can anyone confirm if 'Lakey' is in the correct position. I used to be able to cover all the Scottish Central Belt airports and position 'Lakey' on one map view on the old version but with version 3 it's proving to be a bit of a problem trying to position the map correctly with the names of the fixes showing. I've tried various zooming in and out without much success. It looks as if 'Lakey' is positioned too far south now.

Hi, Lakey is my local Waypoint!

One way to make sure if it is in the right position is to add this attached .out file which I made personally last week, which is of Lake Windermere.

'Lakey' is about 2 Nautical Miles south of the lake, and slightly to the left. Also, its  in a direct line between DCS VOR, and MCT VOR.

Hope this helps,

James

Thanks James,

Cheers,

Ian

Is there any chance of having a list of known problems so as to stop everybody repeating the same/similiar problems.?

I have noticed that in the status column that some aircraft are listed as being on the Ground, however on the map they are clearly in the air say 19000ft, I currently have 4 displayed as on the ground but aare in fact in flight.
