Preferences/Map Color/Other

Hi

Does anyone now if I could use the Map Color Named "Other" in Preferences/Map Color/other for the outlines. If so would you just enter Other instead of $Type 25 etc and what is this used for anyway.

And for anybody else who would like to use "Other" (in preferences/map/color/other.

In fact, the OTHER colour is used for any outline with a number not in the range 1-30.  So you can use $Type=any number > 30.

I've asked AirNav if they can give me a list of colour $TYPE numbers for the categories in Colour Preferences, and they say they don't know/ can't match them.

This is the list of colours that I use. It's compatible with the high-res outlines produced elsewhere:

1 - white
2 - basic outline
3 - coastline
25 - water
26 - red
27 - runway centreline
28 - grass
29 - buildings
30 - general airport markings / dirt runway boundaries
