Hi guys,

Just seen on the RB heading towards Lourdes was Easyjet A319 G-EZAI. However according to the grid he is using a flight ID of TOP1312. Surely not an incorrect ID as there is a big difference in entering EZY1312 and TOP1312. No logo for this ID either therefore do not know if it is a mistake or not. Any ideas ?

Cheers,

Ian

Reported at http://www.airframes.org/reg/gezai as using TOP1311 today as well.

Simply copy your EZY logo to TOP.

It would be interesting to know why it was using TOP - it's the ICAO code for Top Air of Turkey. Difficult to believe they're doing a charter/subcontract flight for them.

TOP is the code for TOPSWISS, easyjet switzerland subsidary, using one of easyjets aircraft!

mdobuk21 just beat me to it, is it possible the crew didnt know the EZS code and just used TOP from TOPSWISS?
Just a thought.

Right then - we already have an EZS logo that can be copied for that, then.

Thanks, Mark

Easyjet Switzerland regularly use DS as the ID for their flights so where this TOP code is coming from on one of their flights is still a bit of a mystery. As Rod says TOP is the ID for Top Air of Turkey.

Further to the above, EZS is the ICAO code used for Easyjet Switzerland again not TOP. The DS is used on their flight schedules.
