RE FlyGlobalSpan MOD Flights

Most of us have heard that flyglobalspan went bust last week, anybody know what the mod are doing to get mod/civilian staff from/to falklands & ascension island back to the UK for xmas?

ps flyglobal span say they went bust because their credit card agent-e-clear have held back £30 million

I applied to work for them this year covering brize ascension and falklands on a month on and a month off but was turned down

Flyglobalspan staff on ascension island will be deported no job no rights to stay i just hope they (aig) deal with them in a caring sensitive manner at this time of year.

Next question aren't Air Italy in trouble financially too?

How many other small carriers will go to the wall in the next 12 months

I just feel sorry for flyglobalspan staff they have no job but their millionaire owner wont lose out bet he will still have a nice xmas, staff wont be paid for the last 30 days work they did

The same credit card company which 'helped' Flyglobespan go bust, were also involved with XL Airways, Zoom, SkyEurope, Libra Holidays. Guess what, they have all gone bust. You would think that auditors/accountants of major firms would ensure that they are receiving all monies due and, in particular, stay clear of e credit card companies which have allegedly bad reputations.
