Unable to get Myflight info and Radar map on screen together

Hi,
I've just setup my new AirNav RadarBox and I cannot get the Radar picture and the Myflight information on the screen at the same time. If I click "Myflight" under RadarBox the Myflight information fills the screen. I then have to click "Interface" and then Show/Hide to get the Radar picture back but the Myflight information is not visible.

I have tried selecting different interface settings i.e. Top, Bottom, Right and left. I have also tried under "Window" Tile vertical, horizontal and cascade. Still cannot get both the Myflights and the Radar picture on screen together.

I have installed the software on another computer with exactly the same results. Both computers are running Windows XP.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

What is the resolution your pc? There have been known issues with this happening when you expand the interface across and then can't decrease it but we are very suprised it happen on a new install unless your resolution was very low.

My screen resolution is set to 1280 x 1024 and 1024 x 768 on the other computer that I tried it on. I have tried setting to 800 x 600 but still have the same problem

Are you saying when you installed, you could not see both interface and map? or was it only after changing the sizes did the problem occur.

We have a fix if it was just after changing the sizes.

When I first installed the software Myflight information was shown down the right hand side of the screen but only one column wide, both Myflights and the Radar map were visible together. I then moved Myflight info to the bottom of the screen and that's when it filled the screen and I was then unable to see both Myflights and the Radar map at the same time.

Resoultions 1280 x 1024 and 1024 x 768 should be fine to have them both running. Any lower than that and it could get a bit tight.

Try moving your cursor all the way to the right or left untill you get the double line cursor.  Grab the window and move it to where you want.  You may have to minimize the program first...not to the task bar but to the screen.  You might also have to grab and drag the sides of the minimized box until you can get the double line cursor to move the window.  Play with it until you get it.  Hope this helps.

AirNav sent me a fix for my registry but before running the fix I decided to try the demo mode. In demo mode everything was displayed normally. I then went back to normal mode and the problem was fixed with both the Radar map and the Myflight screen showing side by side as it should be.

Only problem now is that I cannot see any network information or targets on the map. Myflights are shown ok on the map and on the info screen. Is there a problem with the network at this time, it was working before I ran demo mode.

Now that the network is back up everything is working fine. I don't know what I did to mess up the screen layout after first installing the software but running the Demo sorted it out and reset the problem.

This maybe useful to anybody else that gets into the same state.

Installed RadarBox yesterday and I do have exactly the same problem than Navman today : unable to get both Interface and radar screen after I tried to move interface informations on the lower part of the screen.

Hopefully, I read this information on the forum and fixed it running demo mode.
But I'm afraid it will happen again in the future.

This will be rectified in the next version. By removing the Vertical Profile (press F8) you should be able to see the map if you can't see it at the top and then pull the interface smaller or large.
