Radio frequencies

Have had my RadarBox for just under 2 months and I'm having a blast using it.  Had a really knackered old scanner which I've dumped and bought a new one.  Thing is, the frequencies of the airways have all but changed.

Can anyone help me find out what they should be.  The two I'm particularly interested in are the old Brookmans Park-Poll Hill (used to be 127.425 but heard nothing on this freq) and the East and West frequencies of the airway that runs between Clacton (ish) and Bristol (used to be called Green 1, don't know if it is anymore).

Hope someone can help me.  For the record, I live near Biggleswade in Bedfordshire.

Thanks.  Still listing BPK-POL as 127.425 but I have been told that has changed (almost supported by the fact I've heard nowt on that frequency for a couple of days).

127.425 is London High Level East (127.430 on 8khz separation) and always goes full blast. My last listen was on Monday. Another fave of mine was 135.05, but nowadays only get the aircraft end, must have changed transmitter sites. Same goes for Dover/Lydd 134.9. In fact now (1710 today, just heard 127.425)

BPK-POL is the N601 Airway. You will want to listen to London Area Control Sector 28, Frequency 127.105 . This is between FL195 and FL295. London Area Control Sector 34 is on 127.880, For Flight Levels 295 and above. For FL195 and below, its London Terminal Control WELIN Sector on 130.925

I actually heard a few aircraft on 127.425 at lunchtime today, maybe before I was just unlucky.

As always, the help and support from the ANRB site members is brilliant.

What you were hearing on 127.425 was actually 127.43, on most units the adjacent frequency can be heard.

As a supplement to the great information posted here so far I have attached a few of my own documents that I hope you (& others) find useful. The frequency lists are completely up to date with any recent changes.

The NATS www is excellent too, especially the AIRAC's which detail any changes to airways, reporting points & frequencies as well as excellent airport info on frequencies, SID's, STAR's etc...

After checking your list with another, there are a few discrepancies.

S1    134.460   other list has freq 132.84 for S1 and 134.6 for S24
S14  118.480   other list says 118.840
S16  134.455   other list S16 showing as 136.600
S27 & S32  other list shows frequencies the other way round, is this important?

It could be that the other list is older but was wondering how current your list was?

Most still are but some are 8.33 spacing now.

134.460 replaced 132.84 As far as I'm aware there isn't a S24 currently.
118.48 is S14 Clacton (I have just checked & is active) It replaced 118.475
134.455 replaced 136.6 on S16 It is often 'bandboxed' with 134.460, 132.605 & 127.430
Sectors 27 & 32 are both 'Daventry South' Sector

I'm pretty sure my info is the latest version as I recently reviewed & validated them all. Please feel free to correct any that may not be though!

As new frequencies are are issued most are now 8.33 spacing replacing the traditional 25 Khz
