red crosses in 3D vieuw, screenshot problem

hi all,
lately i get a lot of "red crosses" in 3D vieuw, along with the speres and 3D planes.
can somebody tell me how to get rid of them ?
also, it seems i can't make a screenshot ; i press F3, save the file ( i tryed it to both default location and desktop ) ...... but no screenhot
any help on these please.

little update ; i reloaded the 3D plugin, and that seems to have solved the Red cros problem ( for the moment at least ) but the screenshot problem persists, and it is only in 3D vieuw, in 2D i do get screenshots ?!
anybody else have this ?
