Nowhere near normal up here. Most flights in and out of Inverness are still cancelled :(
Although looks like Easyjet are flying :)

I'm way down on numbers, but coincidentally I put a new twig up yesterday so comparison is impossible.

Around now I would normally be looking at 100+ in Myflights - currently 20.

Traffic is still very low in the UK. Looking at Heathrows departure page and the network, its only seen a few flights take off/land in the last hour.

Actually, as yet nothing has taken off from Heathrow in the last 5 days, other than a positioning Air Memphis A320 which departed at 01:19 this morning (and the ash-test B744, which didn't land back).

Edit: First revenue departure has just taken off: 400776 BAW165 G-VIIY B772 off EGLL 27 at 09:09:59 local

AZ201 to Rome is listed on the Heathrow site as departed at 8 which is strange.

Then I stand corrected, dodgy GPS coordinates didn't register on my monitor !

Another BAW B744 just departed, things getting back to normal.

EMA and MAN have no flight information whatsoever available on their sites and BHX have so far proved uncontactable by internet. Early days yet.

After being almost back to normal up here in the Northern Isles, Loganair and Loganair/Flybe have just pulled the plug on all services to/from Orkney and Shetland from mid-day - don't know why.

With our lifeline ferry service from Orkney currently being re-deployed to Bergen to pick up stranded tourists, it's beginning to feel a bit isolated up here !

We now have a "no fly zone" declared over Orkney and Shetland due to a higher concentration of volcanic dust in the atmosphere than expected

Flights (Easyget) have started to arrive at Liverpool (EGGP) from Portugal
looks busy from the south, with approach over mid wales.

Haven't seen a solitary Ryanair flight move from UK or Ireland so far today. Even to re-position! Am I being cynical in thinking there is a financial motive to this?? Their website states they will use aircraft to return passengers as a priority for the next couple of days. Hmm.
