Andrew for information the Bombardier BD100-1A11  was launched as the Continental but Bombardier changed the name to Challenger 300 very early in the production run.  As the Russian one is later in the production run, it is in this case a Challenger 300 and not a Continental.

On the Embraer ERJ aircraft they were certified with the dash but Embraer now market them without the dash, so in my opinion either are valid and whichever is your preference can be changed in your local Navdata.

You will face this decision with a number of aircraft types where the marketing name is different from the certificated designation - Fokkers and Shorts are two that spring to mind (even professional databases have trouble with the latter).

The original Embraer jets are in fact certificated as EMB-145, EMB-145EU, etc - the ERJ designations for those aircraft are purely for marketing purposes.

Hi Chris,  all those are on the database fully and have been for a number of months.

Can you advise what info is missing, normally it is only the AT which you can add manually.  Can you confirm that when you auto-populate you get nothing at all? Yesterday when I was auto-populating, the data was taking 30-45 seconds at times to come through.

I also noted yesterday that my updating was taking its toll of my local databse as I had to auto-populate around 30 aircraft.  Need to spend some more time looking at my radarbox screen.

Chris, I may have had something similar there.  I noted 780477, B-5383 which was all the information in my own database.  On checking the Airnav database everything is there as it should be.  I presume that the first time I picked it up the hex and registration were the only data downloaded as that is all that was on the Airnav database.

Now that we since updated the Airnav database with the remaining data, because there was data on my own database, something in the system prevents the remaining data being auto-populated probably to prevent your own data being over written, its either all or nothing, therefore a manual update will be required until a new navdata file is released.

Thats my theory anyway.

Edit 13:38 just picked up YR-BAC on the network and everything is there that should be.
