KEWR arrivals turning

Flights bound for KEWR normally overfly the ALB VOR and proceed direct SAX.  Today, they all seem to be turning westward at ALB.  There is nobody on the network in position to show where they are going after that. 

The FAA site shows all airports in green status, and there is no significant weather on radar.

Is there a TFR in the Hudson Valley area of New York?

OK, I need to update this already.  The aircraft are resuming a southerly course to the west of ALB.  It looks like they were actually routed around the VOR instead of over it.  Still can't tell why, though.
