On the network I have a USAF C-32A 97-0401 flying over Mongolia... no hang on, he's now over Hungary. Oops, I tell a lie, he's now north of Java. Up to their usual tricks.

The random tracks seem to be specific to RB - on SBS he was plotting normally from just E of Harlow to overhead Ghent.

I think you mean C-37A, by the way (GLF5).

You are right, it was a C-37A, slip of the finger (or brain more likely).

The fact that the false positions is specific to RB is very interesting The same thing happens with E-6 Mercury ac as well sometimes.

Something for AirNav to investigate?

I don't think it is specific to RB though we will check, sometimes these aircraft broadcast normally and then suddenly start spoofing there positions, sometimes when they get over land and then return to normal again.

That doesn't sound like a regular fault but something deliberate.

Got them also, at low level (210ft and 1500ft). So must be local to me. On the comms as ASTRA71 and ASTRA72.

On my box now the return of AE12BB Shado68 69-5828 MC-130P. US Mil comms also on 282.625 not sure if it is this one though.

Just left Edinburgh and tracking south east. Mode S code is 40589B. Does not tie-up anywhere. Have checked GAS site. Any ideas ?
